Mount Kisco Medical Group, the oldest medical group in the state of New York, is our 2010 Outstanding Business of the Year. Most people know of Mount Kisco Medical Group as a place to get good medical care, but few realize that they helped change the way the medical industry brings health care to patients. Founded in April, 1946, by Dr. F. Morgan Pruyn, the MKMG opened its’ doors at 34 S. Bedford Rd. with 7 doctors. Dr. Pruyn envisioned a group of highly trained, intensely qualified experts that would work together to provide care to their patients. Today, the Mount Kisco Medical Group is that and much more.
With the guidance of Dr. Scott D. Hayworth, President and CEO, MKMG has grown to over 200 doctors and 1100 employees. The group provides intensive and comprehensive care to over 225,000 patients throughout the Hudson Valley and has 5 centers of excellence: Breast Center, Robotic Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery, Multiple Sclerosis, and Ambulatory Surgery Center of Westchester. The Mount Kisco Medical Group benefits the entire Mt. Kisco community.
