Mount Kisco Chamber Creates Mobile App to Promote Local Businesses

The Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of its new mobile app, Mt. Kisco Buzz. The app, available on both iOS and Android operating systems, was created by the Chamber to promote local businesses and connect their community.

The Mt. Kisco Buzz mobile app, developed by WAM Enterprises LLC, features more than 150 local businesses including restaurants, shops, professional offices and notable landmarks. Map features allow users to get directions to their destination as well as visit websites and make phone calls. Other features include local news feeds, coupons offered by businesses and the opportunity to connect via Social Media. There is no cost to download the app and Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce members are listed for free.

“The way people connect and obtain information is changing”, said Mount Kisco Chamber President Phil Bronzi. “We wanted to create something the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce members, local businesses, residents, and tourists could use to connect with each other. People can now go to one place in Mount Kisco for news, events, and to find local businesses. It’s very exciting for the chamber and our community”.

“I had been to several chamber and town meetings and could sense the frustration from business owners”, said WAM Enterprises LLC Founder Mike Wolfe. “We were discussing solutions to help everyone and people really got behind the mobile app idea. Technology is changing the way people stay in touch and we’re excited to help the community”.
